An excellent tutor in every way

From a parent perspective, she is very professional, punctual and easy to work with, and she is great with communication about every aspect of the tutoring (scheduling, billing, periodic updates on our daughter's progress, etc). But most importantly, she does an excellent job working with my daughter on her IB Maths and Spanish. My daughter's increased knowledge of and confidence in both subjects is a direct result of Roshan's skills as a tutor. My daughter says that Roshan is very patient and very creative with the interactive activities they do in the sessions (even in their online sessions), which keeps the sessions interesting and helps my daughter absorb the material better and more fully. I wholeheartedly recommend Roshan as a tutor.

An absolutely fantastic maths tutor!

She's patient, encouraging and supportive, and she gently guided my daughter Ruby through the various questions in such a way that my daughter ended up answering her own questions because Roshan made her think about the problem. Ruby needed a B (or 5) for her A-level course, and we were worried she wouldn’t get it. Now, after being tutored by Roshan, we're pretty sure she'll get that B, or possibly even an A (or 6). More importantly, she went from hating Maths to really enjoying it, and when you enjoy something, it makes you better at it as well as working harder. Thank you Roshan!

A wonderfully calm and patient tutor

My daughter was seriously struggling with her math. Slowly she grew more confident with the subject which didn't go unnoticed by her school math teacher and in September we found out that she had passed her GCSE. Roshan was constantly sharing ideas and websites and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend her if your child needs extra help .

An outstanding tutor

Roshan taught my home-schooled son Maths for over a year and helped to push his GCSE (Foundation) grade up from a 3 to a confident 5. She knows the GCSE syllabus well and is conscientious, personable, organised and a pleasure to work with. She was brilliant at accommodating my son's SEN and at building confidence. She also adapted readily to differing requirements during lockdown - Zoom lessons in conversational Spanish and in Maths for Business Studies A Level. I highly recommend Roshan.

An excellent tutor

We used Roshan to teach our son GCSE Biology. His results were outstanding and he owes a lot to Roshan’s approach in helping him with his revision. She was always well prepared for the lessons, brought additional resources such as flash cards, past test papers etc to facilitate the revision and exam preparation. She even helped our son with his maths exam preparation even though he was not getting any tuition from her for maths. Roshan is really meticulous and easy to work with and has a lot of patience. Would highly recommend her.

Dedicated and well-prepared

Roshan has tremendous drive and a depth of experience and trust with children of all ages, which few others can match. She goes over and beyond and seems to really care. My children always feel like they have learnt something new after Roshan’s lessons. Roshan encourages them to think outside the box, challenges themselves and go over and beyond so that they feel stretched without being overwhelmed. I am extremely impressed by how she can manage several children in a group environment with different abilities and personalities. Roshan does this by sending work to do prior to the session and slides after the session detailing what was taught as well as homework so that each session is properly understood and digested. Roshan can multi-task during her sessions, to the nth degree, so that not a minute is wasted in her classes.
